Supply Chain Now aims to be the “voice of supply chain.” From podcasts to live streams, vlogs, virtual events and articles, their digital media unites everything you need to know about the latest in global supply chain performance in one place. Whether users prefer to listen in, read on or speak up, they aim to provide media that connects their audience directly to the supply chain leaders most frequently sourced for insights and spotlight technology, best practices, critical issues and opportunities impacting global supply chain performance.
With this mission in mind, having a seamless and modern digital experience was no longer a luxury — it was a necessity.
The Challenge:
As content volume and audience engagement grew, the original website struggled to keep up. Navigation was clunky, pages loaded slowly, and the overall user experience made it difficult to surface the brand’s growing archive of multimedia content. The lack of content hierarchy and intuitive design limited both discoverability and engagement. Additionally, the site did not effectively reflect the brand’s leadership in the industry or support its vision of being a centralized hub for supply chain media.
The Solution
During my time as Marketing Coordinator at Supply Chain Now, I played a key role in the collaborative process of revamping the website to better reflect the brand’s value and streamline the user journey. Specifically, I:
- Contributed to the site architecture and content strategy, helping prioritize and organize hundreds of podcast episodes, blog posts, and event pages into intuitive content groupings.
- Worked closely with external developers and designers to communicate brand requirements, review wireframes, and ensure that the user experience aligned with both technical functionality and audience expectations.
- Led internal coordination efforts, gathering feedback across marketing, production, and leadership to align stakeholders on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provided QA support ahead of launch, testing functionality across devices and ensuring accurate migration of multimedia content.
The Outcome
The redesigned SupplyChainNow.com website launched successfully with a sleek, modern interface and simplified navigation that puts content front and center. The upgrade improved SEO performance, reduced bounce rates, and made it easier for visitors to discover and consume the full range of Supply Chain Now’s offerings. Most importantly, it strengthened the organization’s position as a trusted digital media platform — one that delivers timely insights and connects the global supply chain community.
