Challenge / Goal
PDI Kitchen, Bath, and Lighting—an established showroom brand with 25+ locations across the Southeast—has long been a trusted name in the plumbing and homebuilding industry. Known for its premium product selection and white-glove customer service, PDI’s reputation among builders and trade professionals was already strong.
ut with recent enhancements to their showrooms and a growing focus on design-savvy consumers, PDI needed a refreshed, consumer-facing brand presence that could turn heads and drive foot traffic. The challenge? Reposition the brand to speak directly to homeowners and interior designers looking to elevate their spaces—with style, substance, and standout messaging.
Solution
As agency of record, we at Digital Yalo developed the “Make a Statement” campaign—a bold creative platform built around the insight that high-end renovations are more than just upgrades. They’re emotional, aspirational, and deeply personal.
We leaned into the unspoken psychology behind home transformation—how the right faucet, lighting fixture, or tile can shift the feel of a room, or how walking into a newly designed bathroom can feel like entering a luxury hotel suite. At the heart of it all was a tone that was both sophisticated and relatable—helping PDI speak the language of designers and tasteful homeowners alike. The campaign delivered that perspective through:
- Headline-driven creative that dramatized the emotional payoff of premium design
- Striking, aspirational imagery that introduced PDI’s elevated aesthetic to a wider audience
- Social and digital executions tailored to meet design-forward consumers where they are
- In-showroom materials that extended the brand experience from online to in-person
We ensured that campaign concepts weren’t just beautiful—they were built to perform across channels. From day one, we worked closely with our media team to shape a concept that would flex seamlessly across deliverables for display, paid social, email, and print. Each headline, image, and layout was designed with placement and format in mind—whether it was an Instagram carousel, a programmatic ad unit, or a full-page insert in a luxury shelter magazine. This ensured creative consistency while giving PDI the flexibility to tailor its message by audience and medium.
My Role
As an account & project lead, I worked closely with both the internal creative team and the client to ensure the campaign reflected PDI’s brand vision while resonating with a broader consumer audience. This included:
- Helping shape the creative brief and overall campaign strategy
- Guiding messaging development to make sure it walked the line between elegance and accessibility
- Managing day-to-day project flow, feedback cycles, and creative approvals across stakeholders
- Consulting on showroom rollout and digital execution to ensure consistency across touchpoints
- Partnering with the media team to align creative formats with paid placement strategy
The Impact
“Make a Statement” marked a turning point in how PDI showed up in the market—not just as a supplier of premium products, but as a tastemaker in the home design space. The campaign helped signal the evolution of the brand, driving interest among homeowners and strengthening its appeal with designers, remodelers, and real estate professionals.
From showroom floors to Instagram feeds, the new voice and visuals gave PDI the polish and presence it needed to attract its next generation of customers—without losing the trusted relationships it’s built for decades.
